About · Facto

Built for the True Industrialist.

We make digital tools that fit the way modern manufacturers work. Practical, configurable, and grounded in the shop floor.

Founding story

We are not manufacturers.

That turned out to matter less than we expected, and differently.

Facto started in February 2025 with a question rather than a product. Rohan had spent three years building software for car dealership service departments in California, an industry that runs on physical work, tribal knowledge and people with every reason to distrust a new screen. Darshan had spent seven years across payments and mobility, on systems where being wrong was expensive.

Neither of us had run a factory, so before writing much code we went and sat in them. On the floor next to the supervisor, not in the owner's office, watching what got written in the register and what got remembered instead.

Most of those factories had already tried software and it had not stuck. The licence was bought, the modules were never opened, everyone went back to the diary. The failure was almost never the features.

It was that nobody stayed after go-live.

So we built the company around the part everyone else outsources. Our engineers deploy Facto themselves, on site, and stay until the floor is actually using it. There is no implementation partner. If the rollout fails, it is our failure and we are standing there when it happens.
